I visited the hidden Temple of Loh tucked away inside the Lahore Fort. Local legend and ancient Sanskrit texts tell a fascinating story: the city of Lahore was founded by Prince Luv (Loh), while the nearby city of Kasur was founded by his twin brother, Prince Kush. Together, they were the sons of Rama and Sita.
The temple is a quiet, roofless chamber near the Alamgiri Gate, a small but powerful reminder of the thousands of years of history layered beneath our feet. Walking through these ruins feels like stepping back into the very beginning of the "City of Gardens."
