The Darkstar DSB-LX was a proposed American supersonic reconnaissance aircraft that was intended to replace the SR-71 Blackbird. However, the project was canceled in the early 1990s due to budget constraints and the end of the Cold War.


As for the Soviets, they did have their own supersonic reconnaissance aircraft programs, including the MiG-25 and the Sukhoi Su-24. However, they did not develop a direct equivalent to the Darkstar DSB-LX.
