Included with the Thinkware ARC 700 dashcam, are multiple options for power. First, we have the hardwiring cable. This cable connects directly to your fuse box, typically hidden behind the trim, for a nice clean look. It also enables advanced features, such as parking mode. One end has the power plug for the camera, the other end has bare wires for the fuse box. And to help you hide the wires behind the trim, also included is a plastic trim tool. You use this tool to gently lift interior panels, and tuck the cables behind the trim, without scratching or cracking anything. And if you'd rather not go through the difficulty of using the hardwiring cable, Thinkware has also included an easy to use 12 volt power cable, that you can just plug into your car cigarette lighter socket. The 12 volt cable, gets you up and running quick and easy.
