In Changhua(彰化), there is the only railway roundhouse in Taiwan. This type of garage looks like oriental folding hand fan, so is also called as "fan-shaped garage(扇形車庫)". It was built in 1922, under the occupation by Japan. The roundhouse is still in use for daily locomotive maintenance, but is open for visitors in the afternoon.
