Model:Cycles Under The Tree - old techno/electronica chill out

The weather was great, so I took my Elektron Model:Cycles
to the park and shot a video with an old-school techno vibe.

I was going to use an unfinished track, but it felt lacking, so I quickly programmed a snare and bass line. Without a MIDI keyboard, it was a bit tricky, but I managed to create a solid groove.

As I played, I tweaked a few parameter knobs, changing up the sound and improvising the flow—there’s something uniquely satisfying about that with a groovebox.
