How to Clean Silver with the Electrolytic Plate

A how to video about using an electrolytic plate, and how to clean silver fast, easily, effectively and safely. We show the step by step process of using the electrolytic plate, how amazingly effective and quick it is in cleaning tarnished silver, jewellery and other precious metal objects without damaging them. This also includes silver and gold plated articles. This method of cleaning silver and gold is much better than the conventional way of using chemicals and a cloth. We also show that the electrolytic plate does not use any harmful chemicals, it is therefore 100% Eco-Friendly and odourless, as well as being quick and easy to use.

In the video we show the electrolytic plate, cleaning tarnished silver spoons and a silver brooch, by simply using boiling hot water and soda, Sodium Carbonate. You can see with your own eyes the tarnished silver returning to its former glory, so simply and efficiently.

This was a college project from IBA Kolding, and has nothing to do with the original firm QwickSilver, apart from that we used their product in our exam. But, I personally can endorse the electrolytic plate; it certainly does clean silver and gold safely, as well as fast, effectively, and easily. My wife has used it for over 20 years, and now the group members have bought the electrolytic plate for themselves.
In our research we did come across the process of using silver foil and boiling water with baking soda. We also learned that this could be harmful to the silver in the long run and in our experiments we found that the electrolytic plate was more effective.
