Néhány hete kaptam egy levelet Sándortó, aki azt írta, hogy anyagi okok miatt külföldre kell mennie dolgozni, de egyetlen szót sem tud angolul, és azt kérdezte tőlem, hogy tudnék-e tanácsolni neki valamit ebben a helyzetben.

Mivel Sándor esete nem egyedi, úgy döntöttem, hogy készítek egy videót a legfontosabb angol szavakról, amelyek ismeretében nem fogsz villogni egy állásinterjún, de a túléléshez elegendő lesz!

A lista azoknak a nyelvvészeknek köszönhető, akik az Oxford English Distionary-t állítják össze. Ők több mint 2 milliárd angol szót különböztetnek meg, de meghatározták azt a 100 angol szót, amely a leggyakrabban fordul elő az írott angol nyelvben.

Azt javaslom, hogy minden egyes szót és kifejezést kontextusban (szövegkörnyezetben) gyakorolj, mert így sokkal jobban fognak rögzülni.
