Removing the rear bumper off a 2018-2019 Hyundai Sonata seems hard, but as you can see its a doable project at home. First you will need to remove the bolts and push pins on the sides of the bumper with a T25 Torq. Remove the bolts under neat the bumper and pop the trunk open. Take the push pins to push back the cover to reveal 10mm screws for the tail light. Unplug the taillights and wiggle it loose. Once the taillights are removed you will see pushpins and 10mm screw to remove. Go back underneath the bumper and you will see 4 black plastic brackets. Holding those are push pins take them off with a flathead or panel removal tool. Pull the side of the bumper off and unplug the sensors if you have one. Now pull the other side of the bumper and in the middle get ready to pull the bumper off. Congrats! You did it!!.
