Описание к видео Short drive around Honesdale PA

The Borough of Honesdale is located in Wayne County Pennsylvania and it is the county seat. It is located in the coal mine region. It was originally called "Dyberry Forks" but renamed for Philip Hone, former Mayor of New York and president of the Delaware & Hudson (D&H) Canal Company.

Honesdale is home to the first commercial steam locomotive run on rails, the Stourbridge Lion. The run started in Honesdale, ran three miles to Seelyville, and returned to Honesdale. Honesdale is known as the birthplace of the American Railroad.

This video drives on Church and Main streets. It contains music but the volume can easily be lowered or muted for those who prefer not to have music. Sit back and relax and enjoy this summer drive around with landmarks and highlights captioned along the way.
