February on the homestead is always a little unpredictable, so today we are slowing down and taking a walk together to see what is actually growing right now.

Some things did not make it. The onions in the garden beds were nearly wiped out, but the onions in the BSF greenhouse are absolutely thriving. The collards are holding strong, blackberries and blueberries are looking great, and the original greenhouse is full of life and growth.

We will walk through the garden, check in on the greenhouses, and then sit down in the chicken run for an honest conversation about what this year has in store for the homestead. The chickens, turkeys, and rabbits are all doing well, and there is a lot to be thankful for heading into the season ahead.

This is not about perfection. It is about paying attention, learning as we go, and building something that lasts.
