The vegetable garden has not had our full attention this year and its showing the consequences, but this is not an enormous area and with two of us weeding and tidying up we get the borders looking much better in a little over an hour.
There are some beautiful white gladioli to pick and the first ever strawberry crop after we eventually win against the relentless hungry wildlife.
