SRI LANKA | TERRIFIED In The Snake Farm 🇱🇰

There is one thing not secret about me is that I am very scared of crawling animals and snakes are on top of that list. While being in Sri Lanka I wanted to get more comfortable with the fact we are living on the same island and probably they are a few meters away from me most of the time.

There is a term called "exposure therapy" when you expose yourself to the things you are scared of to overcome that fear and to be more comfortable with it. I learned about this snake farm in Sri Lanka and rented a scooter and just went for it. No surprise I was terrified of the fact being on the farm itself before I even saw the snakes.

Seeing cobras up close and also being able to touch phyton was a great experience. I cannot say I love snakes now but definitely learned a lot. This type of farm experience costs you only $5. And, those animals are not there just for a business. Normally they are rescued from people's houses and been taken care of on the farm and later released to nature.
