In the opening round of the 2018 John Deere Classic, Francesco Molinari carded a 6-under 65 to earn a spot within the top 10 on Thursday.

The John Deere classic returns to TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. In 2017, Bryson DeChambeau won his his first PGA TOUR title, finishing one shot ahead of Patrick Rodgers.
