Quick and Easy Filipino Puto Cake! | Chef Tatung

What’s your favorite pair for Puto Cake?

I’ve been seeing this recipe all over my social media lately, and I can’t stop craving it. So, I decided to make one of my all-time favorite Filipino snacks: Puto Cake.

Whenever I get cravings like this Puto Cake, it’s great knowing I can just cook it up anytime with La Germania that is MADE FOR EVERY LIFE.

Ingredients:

1 ½ cup Cake flour
¼ cup White sugar
2 tsp. Baking powder
½ tsp. Salt

4 pcs. Egg yolks
½ cup Coconut milk

4 pcs. Egg whites
½ tsp. Cream of tartar
5 Tbsp. White sugar

Topped with:
Salted egg
Grated cheese

(Steam for 20-25 minutes)
