About 3hrs drive and 225kms from Christchurch Airport to Lake Tekapo via Fairlie Bakeshop.

Decided to drive via Fairlie for lunch at the famous Fairlie Bakeshop before leading to Lake Tekapo. So yummy Pies at Fairlie Bakeshop - the best tasting Pies for us, so we don't bother by the long queues before reaching the counter for orders. Coffee and hot chocolates are winners as well.

We're so blessed for good weather and brand new car during our holiday. Great accommodations too.
