The two replacement spindles for my Cub Cadet XT1, 46" cut mower appear nearly identical to the original ones I am retiring. Installation is a multi process affair but there is nothing too difficult about it with the correct tools to hand. I had to look up the recommended torque for the securing bolts and the blade nut and now I have made a note of them; 25 foot pounds for the four spindle fastening bolts and 70~90 foot pounds - I set mine to 85 foot pounds - for the blade nut.
