"Rare Armor: Lion Warrior Complete Set"—Several Lion Clan Warriors appear throughout the area located near the Shaded Ruins bonfire in the Shaded Woods area.

When defeated, the Lion Clan Warrior may drop one of its armor pieces, items or weapons. There are a total of 7 pieces to be obtained. Though each instance of the enemy will spawn a total of six times per bonfire intensity, its armor and weapon/shield drops are rare (especially the Red Lion Warrior Cape). (Duplicate pieces will likely be received when dropped). It takes continuous farming (and maybe even the use of bonfire ascetics) to obtain all of the pieces.

This process is very tedious, but to increase your chances for a drop, equip any items you have that maximize item discovery, such as the Gold Covetous Ring (default, +1, +2), Jester Cap/Traveling Merchant Hat, Prisoner's outfit, and/or Rusted Coins.

It's also helpful to eliminate all of the surrounding enemies, and to conduct this farming offline to prevent disruptive online invasions.

Tip: On the Playstation 3, you can use the "Quit Console/Quit to Dashboard Trick" to maximize drops. When you've almost defeated the Golden/Lion Clan Warrior, wait for the orange flame icon to appear in the upper right corner of the screen, indicating that the game's progress is being saved. Once finished, defeat him, and if he doesn't drop anything, quit the game, and boot it back up. If done correctly, the game will bring you back to the point where the enemy is almost defeated, allowing for you to farm him again for a drop. If he doesn't drop an item upon defeat, repeat the process again, until you receive an item drop. Once an item is dropped and picked up, repeat the entire process again for additional pieces.
