In this video I want to specially focus on the most commonly made mistakes I see people make while forging tongs. It is also a tutorial on how to forge v-bit tongs without and arch so you can have short pieces flat across the anvil i.e. for forging punches, chisels and drifts. I know the video is very long and I am forging slowly but I wanted to clearly show all steps at a calm paste so everybody can see exactly what to do.
