Max Holloway returns home

Two days after his historic and iconic knockout over Justin Gaethje to win the UFC's BMF belt at UFC 300, Waianae's Max Holloway landed back home at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport on Oahu.

Just blessed man, just blessed," Holloway told KHON2's Rob DeMello on Monday. "Shout out to Justin Gaethje highlight. Without him, none of this is possible. He had a lot to lose and he went out there like a true BMF. Gave me the shot. Big UFC 300. To go out like that, man it's just, it's amazing, man. ... It's blessed and being reminded who blessed was and I think we did that.

"You wanna be etched, you wanna put your name in the legacies and the histories, and this is how you do it, you know? "
