In this video I'll show you how to increase your chances of avoiding ring pulls and other junk targets using the Single Frequency Test when searching for modern coins.
At 4Khz and 5Khz (in particular), irregular objects such as ring pulls and pull tabs give irregular and random target IDs, whereas solid and regularly shaped objects like coins give a more consistent target ID. When you're searching for coins, this can be a good tool to help you avoid those unwanted junk targets.

Even though this is a handy trick, I wouldn't recommend using it in old sites where there could be many relics and other interesting treasures that might sound like ring pulls!
