Full Day Of Eating At Park Street Kolkata | Best Street Food In Kolkata

Kolkata is called the City of Joy for many reasons, one of which is the amazing food scene that brings joy to our stomachs. So, to explore the wonderful culinary variety in Kolkata, we’re taking you along as we try out the best street food in Kolkata and visit some of the most iconic restaurants on Park Street!

Our full day of eating at Park Street starts at the iconic Flurys, where we ordered the English breakfast. This is a historic dish and is marked with an ‘H’ on the Flurys menu to signify that it is part of their Heritage menu and has been served since the inception of the restaurant. We finished off our meal with their famous rum balls, with a lemon tart and a coffee for good measure!

Next up on our tour of the best restaurants on Park Street was Peter Cat, where we devoured their famous chelo (fried) kebab, a succulent preparation of meat (you can get chicken or mutton - we got both, of course) served with rice and a fried egg. We followed that up with a trip to Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick for some authentic Bengali mishti and treated ourselves to baked rossogolla and sondesh.

Next up on our food tour of Park Street was Olypub, a chill spot where you can hang out with friends and family, enjoy a few drinks, and try out some mouth-watering dishes. The best part? It’s incredibly pocket-friendly! We then grabbed an amazing chicken kathi roll from Kusum Roll’s and a plate of puchkas from a street-side stall before ending up at our final destination for the day - Arsalan, for some of their incredibly popular biryani. Let us assure you, it did not disappoint!
