A pure GeoNodes setup in Blender 3.x. Basically a blender geometry nodes tutorial, with explanations and written labels in the node tree, which makes it a perfect guide to self study on how to animate in blender, how to use blender 3d for beginners.

The setup displaces a grid (or similar base mesh) into a continuous whirl or tornado shape with high level of customization in regards of the density, noise level and intensity of the whirling motion.

It has 2 examples. A simple whirl and tornado, and the custom modified "Tower setup", which can be seen on the animation above as example.
