POCculture.com interview with Hiroyuki Sanada, who stars as Koji Shimazu in John Wick 4!

Sanada talks about how he was almost in John Wick 3, but had to pass on the film due to an injury, and how excited he was to have the chance to revisit the franchise. In the film, Sanada has some epic scenes with Hong Kong legend Donnie Yen, and he broke down what it was like working with him; Sanada describes their working relationship as having a "chemical reaction."

Sanada also talks about the ways director Chad Stahelski allowed him to provide creative input on his character, including the fascinating story behind his character's name.
