Crossing into the heart of the neighborhood, Calle San Jacinto hums with midday energy—copper pots gleam in antique shops, and the scent of tortillitas de camarones drifts from crowded tapas bars.

A pause at Parroquia de San Jacinto, its baroque facade glowing in the sun, before winding into quieter streets where geraniums spill from whitewashed walls. In Plaza del Altozano, old men debate under the shade of orange trees, their voices blending with the distant strum of a flamenco guitar.

The riverside Calle Betis unfolds like a postcard—pastel buildings reflecting in the water, their wrought-iron balconies draped in spring blooms. At Centro Cerámica Triana, the legacy of the neighborhood’s artisans lives on in vibrant tiles, their cobalt blues and sunflower yellows whispering centuries of craft.

El Puente de Triana tiembla bajo los pasos de los paseantes, el hierro forjado resonando con el eco lejano de una sevillana. El río, dorado por el sol de abril, arrastra pétalos de azahar que se enredan en las redes de los pescadores.

En San Jacinto, el aire sabe a pescaíto frito y jazmín. Los tenderos sacan a la acera cacharros de barro vidriado, mientras las abuelas regatean entre risas. La Parroquia de San Jacinto abre sus puertas, dejando escapar una ráfaga de incienso y murmullos de misa.

Por Plaza del Altozano, los abuelos juegan al dominó bajo la sombra de los naranjos, las fichas claqueando sobre mármol desgastado. En Betis, el Guadalquivir se convierte en espejo: los balcones de colores, las macetas de geranios y el ir y venir de las barcas se duplican en el agua quieta.

Una parada en el Centro Cerámica Triana—donde los azulejos cuentan historias de alfareros, toreros y vírgenes—antes de perderse por Callao, callejuelas que huelen a claveles y aceite de oliva.

El final del paseo lo marca de nuevo el puente, ahora con la luz larga de la tarde pintando de miel las fachadas. Triana es así: sol, sal y duende.
