包容的本地人，好山好浪好便利將都蘭變成台灣最多元的地方 - The most foreigner dense place in Taiwan

最近十到二十年都蘭從靠海部落變成全台灣最多元的地方。兩年前我住台東的時候我同事常常問我：為什麼外國人那麼愛都蘭？根據受訪者所講的話，都蘭的好山好水、衝浪、美食、便利、包容村民，和原住民文化吸引世界各地的外國人來到全台土最黏的地方。

Over the the past 10 or 20 years, Dulan has transformed from a simple indigenous village by the sea into the most ethnically diverse place in Taiwan. When I lived in Taitung, a lot of Taiwanese have seen the change and often asked me "Why do foreigners love Dulan so much?" The people I interviewed told me they like Dulan so much because it's the only place in Taiwan that has mountains, surfing, great food, convenience, welcoming locals, and indigenous culture.
