Controversial Makadara MP Gideon Kioko Mbuvi, popularly known as Sonko has been charged before the Nairobi Chief Magistrate Gilbert Mutembei, with maliciously damaging City Council property. Mbuvi on Monday reportedly forcibly removed a City Council clamp from his car by cutting it after he was found to have double-parked. And as Sally Mbilu reports, the MP denied the charges and was released on a cash bail of 10,000 shillings.
