A-Lone Productions presents a new dub Lp, Soul Rebel In Dub by Lone Ark Riddim Force , the dub counterpart album to Soul Rebel, the new vocal set by Ras Teo and Lone Ark. The album consists of 10 dubs/versions to the riddims used by Ras Teo on his latest album with Lone Ark; ten dub versions of the most rootikal and minor-key roots-rocksteady riddims produced by Roberto Sánchez for his albums with Alpheus, Keith and Tex or Glen Ricks in the past, now visited by Teo with his unique rootikal vibe.
Most of the riddims were composed by Roberto, although there are four Phil Pratt riddims covered by Lone Ark Riddim Force. The dubs and versions were mixed following the earliest dub tradition and only using an old tape echo and a spring reverb. The work of the musicians when building back the old time classic sound at A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio is simply stunning; the line up of musicians includes some of Roberto Lone Ark Sánchez long time partners such as Dubby Ambassah’, Iñigo Eléxpuru, Gorka Junior G Fernández, Saioa Jorrín, Jose Santamaría or Mathias Liengme.

From A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio we have always promoted Dub. In fact, the studio was specifically built to produce, record and mix roots reggae music and dub since its beginning in 1997; from the mixing board to the Hammond organ, from the drum set to the tape delay and spring reverbs, from the piano and amps to the reel to reel magnetophone recorders, everything has been collected and prepared through more than 25 years for this purpose. Dub versions have been mixed to every vocal or instrumental tune recorded or mixed at the studio, always following the 70's and early 80's dub tradition. Hundreds of dub versions have been mixed for different labels, always using the studio as an instrument.
Apart from the various dub Lps released from the studio, a big amount of dubs have been mixed for single and disco releases on labels such as: Nansa Records, Pirate's Choice, Messengers, Fruits Records, A-Lone Productions, Thompson Sound, Iroko Records, Roots & Fyah, Bomb Bass Hi Fi, Jah Temple Records, Reggae Roads Records, Salomon Heritage, Samuel Records, Blackheart Warriors, Bass Lee Music and many more. From the studio we have been also pushing forward a lot showcase albums, where every tune is followed, accompained or extended by its dub version. For us the showcase represents the best format of all as it is the perfect combination of musicians, singer, studio, and engineer. A lot of dubs have been mixed at the Ark for all the showcase albums related to the studio.
