Passage through Egypt - Pyramids and Nile River Cruise

My expedition to Egypt with Lindblad ‪@Expeditions‬ - this trip was nothing less than mystical and magical! From the famous Pyramids of Giza, to the monumental Abu Simbel, to Luxor and so much more in between, I was in awe of these ancient temples that are thousands of years old. Touring around the chaotic and energetic capital of Cairo was also fun!

My absolute favorite part was our cruise down the Nile River aboard the Oberoi Philae, our home for 6 days. I loved watching the scenery change as we sailed along, from lush green palm trees, to a riverside village, to industrial areas, and the desert. Egyptian sunrises and sunsets are especially magical along the Nile!

The trip ended with a flourish with the most stunning hot air ballon ride over Valley of the Kings and Queens at sunrise. Absolutely breathtaking!
