There are plenty of hiking & swimming opportunities but today we ventured out on bikes, round the closest lake, through tunnels, up hills to the tallest waterfall in Switzerland (Seerenbachfälle). Given the dry summer the waterfall is making a good effort by appearing at all, in spring it would be amazing.

We returned via ferry to save our legs which proved to be an expensive experience as bikes are charged nearly the same as a human. They take up more room so we kind of understand but didn't expect it!

Andrew and Mel have picked an amazing place to live, if you are into the outdoors. The scenery is stunning with a high percentage of lovely weather (I count snow as lovely). The trees are just starting to turn brown which contrasts well with the bright blue sky and water, or it would do if Ben hadn't mucked up the GoPro settings. The air is still warm and people are still venturing into the water to swim. The forecast for tomorrow is 16cm of snow, Winter comes quickly!
