One of the main questions that NSA students face when they decide to enroll is "how are you going to use a degree in Liberal Arts? What's the point?" The Liberated Student is a documentary that follows five NSA students during the 2024-2025 school year as they seek to answer those questions themselves. The underclassmen are thrown in the deep end of the workload as they start their education at NSA, and the upperclassmen move towards graduation, beginning to see the weight of the education they've been given as they move towards that goal of cultural leadership: "to whom much is given, much is required."

The documentary showcases events, community, fellowship, and the challenges that students face during the rigorous education that the college provides, as well as faculty and alumni, including Douglas Wilson, Dr. Benjamin Merkle, Dr. Christopher Schlect, and John Lewis.
