Diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Brent Boyle was in critical condition and quickly transported two hours from home to Cleveland Clinic. As Brent’s condition stabilized for him be safely mobilized, a team of caregivers got him out of bed and moving using bedside safe patient handling equipment. Due in part to providing early functional mobility, Brent was discharged five days after starting the mobility program.
