You've been to the restaurant and there's always someone, at some other table, being pretentious and adding to every stereotype of the wine snob. And what they're doing is they're giving the glass a swirl and then they're holding it up for everyone to see. Looking at the legs, and they make a declaration, usually it's something silly like, "What amazing legs." What do legs have to do with the quality of a wine? Absolutely nothing. We look at legs to see if a wine is high in alcohol or high in sugar. It's only for professional analysis. Other than that, it means nothing.
