Get to know James, a rising senior at UIUC majoring in music education!

James is from Homewood, Illinois. He plays the clarinet, loves Beyonce, and hopes to work in higher ed someday. He is a member of Black Chorus and has traveled all over the United States for music. James offers some great advice about how to make friends in college and how to stay positive during uncertain times. He also loves TikTok and says it has kept him entertained during quarantine.
