Sanding LEGO - BrickTsar’s Bad Ideas

Should you sand LEGO bricks? You probably already know the answer. Today we see what happens. Remember the nasty lot I got from Bricklink? The pieces were scratched worse than any I’ve ever seen. In this video we attempt set 640 a vintage fire engine from the early 1970s. I probably could have spent a little more time sanding and buffing. Not much you can do when pieces are this bad. I guess many would just throw them out
