Domino Sugar Refinery is not only the largest U.S. refinery (2005) but also one of the oldest - 100 years old in 2009. This video looks at how the refinery recovered from the devestation caused by Hurricane Katrina. The refinery was inundated with up to 6-feet of sugary-water, major infastructure damage and various other issues, but refinery employees and crews worker endlessly to get the plant back online and in December of 2005, the refinery began refining La's sugar.
