Dan the Star Man shows Disney on Broadway Concert Series 2024 feat. Kissy Simmons & Josh Strickland

On this episode of Dan the Star Man, I present the FULL show of third performance show of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series in the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.

The Disney On Broadway Concert Series takes place in the America pavilion in EPCOT at the America Garden Theatre. It occurs during the following showtimes at 5:30PM, 6:45PM, and 8:00PM during the Epcot International Festival of the Arts from January 12th to February 19th.

This Disney On Broadway Concert Series performance features 2 stars from different Disney broadway musicals. This Disney on Broadway Concert features Kissy Simmons and Josh Strickland. Kissy Simmons plays the role of Nala in the Disney broadway musical The Lion King. Josh Strickland, on the other hand, plays the role of Tarzan in the Disney broadway musical of Tarzan

Kissy Simmons & Josh Strickland perform the Disney on Broadway Concert series in the EPCOT Festival of the Arts on the following dates on January 27th, 30th, 31st and February 2nd, 4th, 7th, and 8th.

Kissy Simmons and Josh Strickland begins their performance by doing 2 songs from the Disney Broadway musical of Aida. One of the songs is called "My Strongest Suit". As they perform the 2 songs of Aida, you'll notice that Josh Strickland does his part by him being in the audience literally off of the stage during some of it.

Before they continue their performance, they introduce us to their awesome band they have on stage.
They have Matt on drums
They have Nick on base
They even have Steve on guitar
They also got John on keyboard
And last but certainly not least, they have their music conductor and arranger Jim Abbott.

They carry on their performance by performing the song Son of Man from the Broadway musical of Tarzan. Also you'll notice how hilarious and funny it is when the background is accidentally changes from Tarzan in the middle to the rainbow screen of the Animation Academy. Luckily the behind-the-scenes people was able to fix the funny mistake.

Next Kissy Simmons performs a song from the Broadway show of The Lion King called "I Will Remember My Pride". This song basically displays Nala's strong connection to the ancestors as she embarks on a journey to free her pride.

Then Kissy and Josh both perform a song from Newsies. It's a song about their heroes Jack and Katherine are facing uncertainty and an uncertain future and they see that with each other, that there is something to believe in. This song is called "Something To Believe In".

Additionally, Josh and Kissy perform the song that everyone is familiar with. They sing the song "Zero to Hero" from the musical of Hercules.

Next Josh Strickland performs a song from Newsies. This is actually his favorite song in the Disney song book. This song not only resonates with him as an artist, as a human and as a dreamer but also it makes him think that we all have to believe that there's a better future out there for us all. This song is called "Santa Fe"

Lastly, Kissy Simmons and Josh Strickland concludes and ends their performance by singing the song "This is The Greatest Show" from the Disney's The Greatest Showman.
