Is Tennessee Football A LEGITIMATE SEC Title Contender?

Описание к видео Is Tennessee Football A LEGITIMATE SEC Title Contender?

Chase Robinson and Chris Lee discuss whether or not Tennessee football could contend for the SEC title in 2024. Discussion points include:

- Quarterback Nico Iamaleava is an elite talent.

- He’s got plenty of skill guys (Dylan Sampson, Chris Brazzell II, Bru McCoy, Squirrel White, Holden Staes, Donte Thornton) around him.

- The Vols' offensive line is led by preseason All-American candidate Cooper Mays, plus, left tackle transfer Lance Heard (LSU) and Javontez Spraggins (both preseason All-SEC candidates), and, it’s got depth (Jackson Lampley, John Campbell, Dayne Davis, etc.)

- Tennessee’s got a front four led by James Pearce Jr., Omar Norman-Lott and Omari Thomas that could offset its biggest question mark (a new-look secondary).

- The Vols also get back Keenan Pili from injury, and he’ll help greatly at middle linebacker.

- Tennessee looks to be favored in nine games, and is potentially a double-digit favorite in seven of them.

- Possible stumbling blocks: at Oklahoma, Alabama, at Georgia; however, the Vols got Alabama in Knoxville last time and should be about a field-goal underdog in Norman.
