Most Underrated Mountain Bike Trail in Chamonix Valley | Petit Balcon Sud

Petit Balcon Sud is a red mountain biking trail in the Chamonix Valley. We rode it in August (i.e. tail end of Summer) from Argentière to Chamonix, which is the recommended direction on Trailforks. Petit Balcon Sud is the perfect trail if you like punchy technical climbing, roots, and rock gardens. It has plenty of spice, and considering it is never too busy, there is plenty of time to session features too. The key is to keep an open mind and not get frustrated! I think we gave it a decent stab 😂

Please note: it's a shared trail with hikers and trail runners.
