I've never had my eyes opened so much in a machine that turns liquid into excitement and what James (the pilot) surprised me with just made it even better. Here at Oaksey airfield in the Cotswolds, UK, I get a tour of this amazing piece of legacy engineering, the Boeing Stearman, and then we take to the skies in it. I never thought these World War 2 aircraft (Boeing Stearman PT-17D) would be such fun, all their quirks and features just add to experience.. Looks like the old dog can be taught new tricks.

Rules are made to be broken and on paper this thing is your worst nightmare but what's it like in reality?
