My Land Rover Discovery TD5 has a severe case of the wobbly gear shift.

Difficulty finding the right gear and a general sloppiness generally means the gear change bias plate is broken.

The part to fix this problem only costs about £4 but the time involved in changing it is around the 4 hour mark . . .
