Cumulative ARPU is calculated in the same way as regular ARPU: revenue must be divided by the audience with the exception of one important feature that distinguishes it from regular ARPU – cumulative ARPU is not calculated for the entire audience, but for a specific cohort of users who installed the application over a certain period of time.
This metric increases daily for a single cohort, which is why it is called “cumulative.”
