Welcome to my guide for winning The Human Comedy Kyoto Driving Park Race on Gran Turismo 7.

THIS RACE WAS COMPLETED ON HARD DIFFICULTY

THIS RACE WAS RECORDED ON UPDATE 1.42
As new game updates come out I will make a note in the description if any changes are required to the car setup or strategy.

UPDATE 1.50: No changes required

UPDATE 1.49
Car setup changes required:
Rear downforce - 255
ECU Output Adjustment - 95
Ballast - 3
Power Restrictor - 96
With these setup changes we lose a little bit of straight line speed, however we're still faster than the AI through the corners.
No strategy changes required.

This is a 1 hour endurance race around Kyoto Driving Park featuring Professionally tuned road cars. PP Limit is 550, Sports Medium and Sports Hard Tyres are available. Fuel is X2 and Tyres are X9.

Race Strategy - Starting the race on Sports Medium Tyres, pit with 30 minutes left in the race for new Sports Medium Tyres only, if you have more than 50% fuel at the pit stop you DO NOT need to refuel, if you have below 50% only refuel to 52% fuel. You DO NOT need to save fuel during the race.

Car Choice for this race: Mazda Roadster Touring Car
Car feels good to drive, the car can save a lot of fuel for this race and this was my main reason why I chose to use this car. The car is relatively easy to drive and if you have completed the Tsukuba Human Comedy race you should be pretty used to driving the car by now. The car setup is very similar for this race.
Follow the Car Setup exactly how it is on my screen, make you double check you have all the settings exactly the same as mine.

Items I bought for the car from the Tuning Shop:
Fully Customisable Suspension
Fully Customisable Differential
Fully Customisable ECU
Fully Customisable Racing Transmission
Racing Air Cleaner
Racing (Slotted Disc) Braking System
Racing Brake Pads
Brake Controller
Racing Clutch & Flywheel

Items I bought from GT Auto:
Custom Rear Wing
Buy these items allows us to change the Downforce settings in the car setup.

My Brake Balance was set at -2 for this race.
All of my settings are personal preference and not required, everyone’s driving style is different and some settings that work for me may not work for you. If my settings aren’t working for you, try different settings, play around with the Brake Balance until you find a setting that works from you.

Make sure to do some practice with this race and car combination, you can brake a lot later for corners and most corners around this circuit you don’t even need to brake. Overall the setup is designed for control and cornering so we do lack a little bit of straight line speed compared to the AI but we more than make up for it through the corners.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask me in comments below.
