Barbara Romine is a 3rd-great grandniece of Fanny Kelly - the woman who survived 5 months in captivity amongst various Sioux tribes after the Platte River Raids of 1864. She recently attended a presentation about the book, Emigrant Tales of the Platte River Raids, and was invited to participate in the Q&A. The questions went deep!
What a treat to have her join us for this event. She also brought her children and grandchildren - so the 5th, 6th, and 7th generations of the Kelly Family were all present.
