Elecraft KH1🔥On-the-Air🔥 Long Island CW Club Challenge & Key Mod 👍

First look at an Elecraft KH1. Rig is fantastic, but my focus is more on the paddles. We take a look at the rig and take her on-the-air for a QSO with a member of the Long Island CW Club.

Great little paddles, but I prefer a little less force. So, I removed the spring from the paddles and replaced it with some foam material. Feels much better to me now. Of course this is just personal preference.

At the end I join the Long Island CW Club (LICW) Challenge, and exchange numbers with another club member on the air.

This is a very nice little rig that you can take anywhere. The best rig is the one that you have with you when you need it. This rig is always ready to go; just seconds to power-up and get on-the-air!
