The First Round: Dedicated to the Gods (Odin for victory, Frey for fertility).
The Second Round: Dedicated to ancestors and fallen heroes (The Erfivilla).
The Third Round (The Bragarfull): The moment of the Boast. Warriors made solemn oaths (Heitstrenging) that would bind their fate. To break an oath made during Sumbel was to lose one's soul.
