2017 Acura NSX In-Depth Review and Test Drive

It’s been 12 years since the first generation Acura NSX ended it run in 2005. Now we finally get the second generation NSX which started production this year. Now the question is: Was the wait worth it? The starting price for the new NSX comes in at $156,000. One thing for sure though is that the Acura NSX hybrid is one sophisticated supercar.

The styling on the 2017 Acura NSX has raised the most contention in the automotive world. There are various vents, ducts, and spoilers that help channel the air around the car or to the engine out back. Speaking of engine the NSX hybrid is powered by a twin-turbo 3.5 liter V-6 that makes 500 horsepower on its own. But the NSX also has 3 electric motors that help to produce a total of 573 horsepower and 576 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 9-speed DCT unit. 0-60 MPH times come in at 3.1 seconds.
