Jesse Crawford (1933)

Описание к видео Jesse Crawford (1933)

Titles read: "Now we interview Jesse Crawford - the world famous Organist - (Filmed on his first visit to England)".

Location of events unknown.

M/S of American organist Jesse Crawford sitting at an organ as he is interviewed by a man. He talks about when he first started playing the organ, and how he played the organ for silent films. He plays a little extract to demonstrate what he would have played for different scenes in silent movies. When asked what music he thinks audiences like best he says "Songs of the heart - ballads".

Various shots of Jesse playing a ballad and the words come up at the top of the screen so that we can sing along. The title of the song isn't mentioned but it could be 'Each Wish Brings You Nearer To Me'.

Jesse is quite a smooth type; Ron thinks he looks a bit like an evangelist!
