Here is my composition Kickin' Groovin'. First it's about the rhythm. Chorus one and two ('comp only choruses') sets the mode.
I based quite a number of the elements in the song on triplets. There is also a chorus with 5/4 in the right hand against the left hand beat. I'm also using right hand "thumps" on the lower manual to get rhythmical/percussive effects. I use anticipation at the start of a number of choruses (e.g. at the start of the first solo chorus), and the reason is I'm trying to build up some tension.
And last: What have inspired my lines of though when composing this song is
Jimmy Smith's 'Back at the Chicken Shack' (1960) left hand.
Jimmy McGriff's 'All about my girl' (1962) keyboard 'thumps' and anticipation.
Lou Donaldson's 'Dapper Dan' (1968) rhythm.

Upper 88 8000 000. No Chorus. Perc On, Soft, Fast, Third.
Lower 88 8000 000. No Chorus.
Bass lower man. 80.
Leslie simulator Slow position.
Equalizer not used.
Overdrive not used.
Reverb Hall, Soft, close to 50%.
Tonewheel mode Vintage 2 (high level of tonewheel crosstalk and cable leakage artefacts).
The sound is recorded line out from the organ. No additional external effects, external amplifiers or speakers are used.
