28th May 1966: With summer almost here England to host the World Cup in June we welcome final Match of the Day program of the 1965/66 season. So where better to be than Brentford to get a final season fix of the drug called football. Sarcasm aside, it's the Third Division again and poor old Brentford need to beat Gillingham to avoid relegation to the Fourth tier in their last match. For the followers of this series not only is there no central television camera position, there isn't even one behind the goal - it's sort of to the right behind the goal. Life really was simpler in 1966.
