I did not know Jake Burton personally. When I moved to Tahoe full time in 92/93 winter from Chico Ca. I saw the cracked windshield on the old red Subaru towing sleds around on my way to and from the first chairs and work. I knew who he was and what he meant to me. Words fall short so we live by our actions. Follow your dreams and you will never be lost. Much Love to the Burton Carpenter family and the legend that is Jake Burton/ The sport of Snowboarding.
